The Tuesday Club began life in the 1960’s as the Young Wives Group. Sixty years on some of the original members are still around but the group is open to anyone who would like to come along. We meet at 2.30pm in the Parish Centre, usually on the first Tuesday of the month. We come together to hear an interesting speaker or take part in a lighthearted quiz and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a chat. Membership is £20 per year; guests £3 per meeting. The 2026/27 programme is: October- Niki McCann : Waltham Organic Farm; November- William Collier: life in Coal Mines in the North East; December- Christmas Flowers and social afternoon; January- Beetle Drive; February - Dilip Amin: Stories from an RAF Bunker; March- Dr Judith Thomas: subject tbc; April- David Hunt: Gardens of the National Trust; May- A visit to the Thames Valley adventure playground; June- Tea in the Birinus Gdns;
